Message from the CEO

In August, Continuous Computing held its annual Meeting of Stockholders, in which we reviewed the activities and accomplishments of the last 12 months. Wow, what a great year it has been! The meeting took place just after we had completed our seventh consecutive quarter of record revenue — an achievement that highlights the company's steady pace of growth and success. Other achievements include our continued product development, such as our latest Trillium+plus binary protocol offerings, and our ongoing global expansion, which is underscored by our recent acquisition in China.

Wireless, VoIP and now IMS continue to be the strongest segments of the global telecom market and the investments we made — as well as the projects we won — over the last several years are beginning to bear fruit. Members of the Board and the management team continue to explore additional opportunities to expand our markets, enhance our product lines, add the best talent, and secure our position as a "must have" player in the worldwide telecom infrastructure ecosystem.

Chairman Ken Kalb Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Continuous Computing Chairman and Co-founder Ken Kalb was named Telecommunications Entrepreneur Of The Year at the Ernst & Young 2005 San Diego awards banquet. Designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses, Mr. Kalb was chosen for the award from nearly 100 nominations. A panel of 12 independent judges voted to recognize Mr. Kalb as a key technology business leader in San Diego.

Continuous Computing Acquires Key Assets in China

Continuous Computing has closed its acquisition of key people, products, technology and other assets from China-based UP Technologies (China), Ltd.

The acquisition, first announced in June, enhances Continuous Computing's market position in China and adds global product development and manufacturing as well as regional customer support resources.

In connection with the establishment of a new subsidiary and regional office, known as Continuous Computing China Technologies (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., the acquisition increases the company's total staffing by approximately 80 people in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

New Tradeshow Booth

Continuous Computing recently acquired a new trade show booth to showcase the company's broad range of products and services at major industry events. The booth, which complements our updated corporate brand, was launched at the June Supercomm show in Chicago. The booth's simple yet elegant design includes multiple product demonstration areas and a private meeting room.

New Product Highlights

Continuous Computing has announced two new, innovative blades for AdvancedTCA: FlexCore™ ATCA-FM30 and FlexDSP™ ATCA-TI320. FlexCore allows for three times the density improvement over current solutions, while FlexDSP is the first general purpose ATCA digital signal processing blade on the market and an ideal IMS enabler. Continuous Computing's delivery of these two unique blades demonstrates the company's dedication to and leadership in the ATCA market.

Continuous Computing has also introduced a new offering in the Trillium®+plus line of binary protocol bundles that will accelerate and simplify the development of SS7 nodes. Trillium+plus MAP / TCAP (mobile application part, transaction capability application part) is a pre-integrated, high-performance signaling solution that enables telecom equipment manufacturers to focus their resources on their unique value add — the application — resulting in a quicker time to market and increased return on investment.

Continuous Computing now has a Trillium+plus and Trillium Professional Services brochure covering the wide range of VoIP, Wireless and IMS solutions available. We've also updated a handful of existing sales collateral, including our Corporate brochure, Trillium Source Code brochure, Platforms brochure, FlexCore™ ATCA-FM30 datasheet, and FlexDSP™ ATCA-TI320 datasheet. In addition, we've created a new Trillium+plus white paper which discusses the business case for telecom equipment manufacturers to outsource the platform and protocol software pieces of network elements so they can concentrate internal resources on application development, yielding a much faster time to market.
